The camera was hand-held. The image is cropped a tiny little bit but not manipulated.

A flower shot at the minimum focus distance of the EF 200mm f/2.8

telephoto lens. I went nearly blind shooting against the setting sun,

but the results are worth it, don't you think?

I like this. It's very different from your pink-haired young women, of course. The 'atmospheric perspective' layering is a nice 'extra' here.
