The aggressive side of winter's approach. We say here that the cold feels like daggers, and this is reminiscent of that phrase.

I am just amazed at how the light hits it. Really well captured on film.

This was shot at full moon-light. The exposure time was 30seconds and the aperture was 5.6 at 400ISO. I stood at the long pier and shot several images of the local bridge. These shots were really difficult, because the pier was waterbased and if I moved just a little bit, it started to wobble... Then I noticed this ice formation just beside the pier, the moonlight shone exactly to it. I had to re-position my tripod, but the result was rather nice - at least to my taste.
