Thank you for visiting my portfolio and for your thoughtful comments on the individual images. As to this image, I wonder what you are trying to fix? The zone of color from the bottom to the top on the left side just peeking through - ii gives me the feeing that someone is waiting there. This is a beautiful image but very subtle compared to many of your other images. I think you should trust your instincts and let it be. When I have an image that draws me back again and again I tend to see that as a clue that something new inside of me may be trying to surface. I looked through your portfolio - a wonderful collection of very unique and beautiful images- and it seems to me that this photo is different from many of your others. In most of your images the focus is either uniformly crisp or you have distinct in focus and out of focus areas, but here the focus gradually diffuses from crisp and tight at the bottom to open and gauzy at the top. Not a flaw- just different. Also the contrast is lower in this image than most of your others. Again-not a flaw just different. Have you tried looking at the image as black and white and playing with contrast. it could be that there is more than one image in this capture! I did find three other photos that to me have the same feel -geometrie, watching, and water. Maybe comparing them will help you discover what you are looking for. Let me know if you make a discovery.

I think that you are right. when i see this picture also today i have some problems to fix the view. and this is also in the real world. it seems that there is another dimension that would be appear. (as the 3d images on some books that you see only after you fix your eyes on another focus plan). I don't know yet where i want to go... ciao and thanks for your words and suggestions! Elena
