soniam 6 Posted November 23, 2007 An old peice of farming equipment forgotten among birch trees. Who couldn't appreciate a moment in history like this? I absolutely love it Link to comment

jeffl7 0 Posted November 24, 2007 Like a Wyeth watercolor, this has aging tones and great texture. It truly would be a great subject for a very detailed painting. Link to comment

papasan 0 Posted November 25, 2007 Hi Linda, very nice nostalgic capture. I like the composition and the symbolism. i wondered how this would look in sepia tone to add to the nostagia, and i played with it a bit and came up with a slightly different approach. I wonder what you think. Regards - michel Link to comment

pnital 36 Posted November 26, 2007 Nice image Linda, I like the metalic color vs. the natural of the trees and FG. Really fits your title;-)) Link to comment
jim craig 0 Posted November 27, 2007 I really like this Linda, the frame filled just enough to still show some context. Very nice composition. I also really like Michel's idea with regards to the sepia toning. regards, jim Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted December 1, 2007 Wonderful image. It is palpable in its down-to-earthness. Wonderful muted colors, great textures. I love the composition, the way the trees stand so strong and the foreground grasses provide a short screen to the entrance of the photo. This just has a great feel to it. I find it soothing and a real homage to land. Link to comment
