doug_gentry 0 Posted November 24, 2007 Dave, I see you are stepping out with a little PS! Nice work! Not overly done! This instills a peaceful, dream like feel. Nice work! Doug Link to comment
shots worth sharing 1 Posted November 24, 2007 Very much appreciated, Doug! This is one I shot in the wind yesterday. there's another here: http://photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=6667906 I liked what I found when I started to play with it on the pc (I actually used FastStone and PS/E in the process.) I have a pretty limited skill-set when it comes to such things (and it's a totally seat-of-the-pants proposition) but I like how this ended up. Link to comment

petemillis 0 Posted December 5, 2007 Beautiful - I love pictures that show the world dancing through the use of slower shutter speeds. Wonderful lively colours with so much warmth yet I can feel the cold of the wind _ I love the outdoors! Link to comment
shots worth sharing 1 Posted December 6, 2007 Thanks, Pete! I tried to maintain a curmudgeonly posture toward fall foliage shots but finally caved. Link to comment

shots worth sharing 1 Posted January 19, 2008 Thanks for the comment! This came out in the course of some relaxed shooting and experimentation with PP, where I still feel very much a novice, over the Thanksgiving break. I was looking to bring out the contrasts between the red/yellows and the green/grays. I was pleased with the result and I'm glad it's been well received--particularly since it's sort of a portrait of that ancient oak on the right which is, sadly, dying. Link to comment
thadley 15 Posted January 20, 2008 A wonderful and beautiful image presented in a painterly fashion. Link to comment
