I liked what I found when I started to play with it on the pc (I actually used FastStone and PS/E in the process.) I have a pretty limited skill-set when it comes to such things (and it's a totally seat-of-the-pants proposition) but I like how this ended up.

Beautiful - I love pictures that show the world dancing through the use of slower shutter speeds. Wonderful lively colours with so much warmth yet I can feel the cold of the wind _ I love the outdoors!

Thanks for the comment! This came out in the course of some relaxed shooting and experimentation with PP, where I still feel very much a novice, over the Thanksgiving break. I was looking to bring out the contrasts between the red/yellows and the green/grays. I was pleased with the result and I'm glad it's been well received--particularly since it's sort of a portrait of that ancient oak on the right which is, sadly, dying.
