Great compostion and colors!

Thank you. The fact that this old farm house was torn down a couple of months after I took this makes the picture special for me.

NOW I get it. That part of the building has settled. It took me only 4 days to figure that one out.I know what you mean Doug, when I photograph an old building like this & it's not there next time I drive by, I consider that a win.

Mike, I should get over it, but I'm always stunned when I drive by and see that a place like this has disappeared. Over a hundred years of history just gone, without leaving even a trace. Here, at least, I was told the logs were disassembled and hauled off, I assume to be used in another structure.

What a sad scene. My grandparents' farm house fell into disrepair like this after they died and was eventually torn down. I remember visiting as a young adult, prior to the demolition, fully expecting them to swing open the peeling door and traipse through the weeds to welcome me.

This is the kind of image I love. This place has a story to it, and it must have ended sadly. You captured beautiful tones and details, though. It all makes me think.
