theodeby 0 Posted November 22, 2007 Dear Monte, indeed, the feathers of the wings aren't really sharp. However the fins of the halibut are, so the unsharpness suggests movement of the wings that are in motion anyway. I think this is a great shot and you have taken well advantage of the rare opportunity to catch this bird's catch. Link to comment
matman1975 0 Posted November 22, 2007 Hello Monte. This shot is excellent. The critical point which should always stay sharp are the eyes and they are tack sharp...so don't be tough with yourself, the blurry wings give an extra sense of motion which makes your photo look even better than if it was pin sharp all the way.Greetings from Greece, Teo Link to comment
joe james 0 Posted January 23, 2008 This is great....I love the motion and agree that the critical feature (eyes) are plenty sharp. Not to mention the fact that the Osprey has a Halibut! A bird of prey with a bottom fish in it's talons is a first for me...and we boatloads of Ospreys near my house. Never seen one with a flounder though. Great capture. Link to comment
