It appears to me that you had a very nice image to begin with, but the HDR, dragonized effects are just overdone. I look at images on photo.net with regard to photographic capture and while I don't mind digital manipulation to enhance, it's when overdone and the image loses it's photographic quality and becomes illustration without regard to reality that it does not work for me.

Hi friend, for me...just the opposite from my predecesor, the HDR makes the scene very especial. Is it not photography? so what it is? Did you take it with a camera or with a pencil? Cheers.

Brilliant!!

I think this is an excellent photograph (and I normally don't like HDR). My only critique would that the right hand side (tree trunk and vegetation) needs to be darkened (burn tool in PS would be perfect for this). It's too bright relative to similar elements on the left side of the image and therefore feels unnatural. The right hand side, background trunk which looks like a sun beam is glowing on it is fine. But the right hand front trunk and foreground vegetation is just way too bright. But that's easy to fix and this is a very dreamy, good image.
