aepelbacher 0 Posted November 16, 2007 I think that the effectiveness of this image works best when it's BIG. I love how the branches of this old tree draw your eye up to the gorgeous sky. I do NOT love the bridge/road/power lines in the background. What are your thoughts? Link to comment
LindaM 2 Posted November 18, 2007 i would not even have noticed the bridge and power lines if you hadn't brought them up, so i don't think they are distracting. i actually like the bridge in the photo and how it could symbolize another spritiual bridge. Link to comment
cherlyn 1 Posted November 19, 2007 You are absolutely correct that our eyes are drawn to the lovely blue sky & the branches which provide a great canopy. My favorite among the 3 bec of its balanced composition. Link to comment
susan stone 0 Posted November 20, 2007 And I think your recent cemetary posts would work well in B&W too, the beautiful sky would become ominous and dramatic, the tree more graphic and haunting, and the bridge would be a ghostly highway to the afterlife. Sometimes me thinks too much..... Link to comment
aepelbacher 0 Posted November 20, 2007 Ooooh - and maybe these are the shots I could try your PS IR stuff with. Don't have my external plugged in right now (where I store my pics), but will try it sometime soon. THANKS for the idea!!!!!!!!!!!! Link to comment
