Just having a little fun with an image of twisted driftwood. It's

sort of like looking at clouds, but driftwood always seems a little

creepy to my eyes.

Your idea is great Linda, but I feel sharp edges work better in this case than soft ones.

Good Luck!

Linda, I see all sorts of 'things' in this image, mediaeval monsters, ghostly shadows, ogre faces, demoniacal figures... or, is it just my overly caffeine and nicotine fuelled imagination?

Wonderful imagery!

This is pretty cool. I've never been much for images made up of forms, but I really like this one a lot. Outstanding work and very imaginative. Tim Burton comes to mind when I look at this.

Thanks for all of your comments. I don't know if trees have spirits or not, but this particular beach feels to me like a haunted graveyard of sad, roots and trees.

Creepy! A little hallucinatory. I always thought driftwood moved when my back was turned. Inventive and playful.

Inventive and humourus use of photoshop. I am always seeing faces and figures in driftwood too.... and Jeff it does move when you turn your back!!

I see so many figures here; dragons, claws, headmasks, daggers and other mythological figures. This is as good as it gets with driftwood!

Linda, This is quite remarkable! The carving itself is unique and you have done a wonderful capturing the lighting with shadows! I really like it! Best Regards, Doug.
