The sacred Tengboche Monastery floats over heavenly clouds under the

shadow of Mt Everest.

Now that's what you call majesty!

Man, you really make me feel like going to the Himalayans so bad...I thought the Rockies were amazing...this is just out of this world.

Nice layered comp. I think it also captures the essence of the mountains imo: so much power, so much majesty, so humbling. The contrast between the huge peak in the distance and the seemingly minuscule temple works perfectly to reflect that feeling of humility.

Just had to comment... to not comment would be injustice to you and this wonderful capture. This image is so wonderfully captured and speaks to me in so many levels that words can not describe. Undoubtedly my favorite in your portfolio. Nonetheless, all your photo's are exceptional in their own right as your photo's evoke such powerful physical and emotional experiences.
