Thank you. I was actually testing my new 50 mm lens with large aperture. This is taken with just two sitting room lamps .. the somewhat harsh shadow on the face surprises me a little actually ..

Well John, your new toy is working good, no doubts. I'm surprised too by the lightning, it looks as very "professional" and not casual, but it is the effect of just two sitting lamps! simply wonderful. About the composition, the diagonal is perfect and she looks relaxed and pensive. Delicious.

Thanks Carlo, well to be more precise, two standing up lights and one small table top with abajou to her left actually .. that is what caused the hand shadow I imagine ..
