aepelbacher 0 Posted November 14, 2007 Yeah, on the side of the train the vocabulary used in the graffiti gets rather obnoxious. I like this old, overgrown abandoned train. Thoughts? How did I do with the dark shadow at the bottom? Link to comment
mtvpix 0 Posted November 14, 2007 I like this better than the semiphore, I honestly don't know about the shadow. I'd have to see it both ways. Link to comment
tylerpierce 0 Posted November 14, 2007 I love train shots! I would have tried a more dramatic angle. Lower to the ground looking up more around the front. Good composition though. Link to comment
lonebearimages 0 Posted November 15, 2007 Hey, Lou Ann, how are you kiddo? Geez, you're just full of surprises - now you're back in upstate NY. I hope all is well, and that you feel okay about all of this. I wish you the best and know that all will be right in Aepelbacher world real soon. I left you a very detailed explanation of the moving rocks on the Racetrack here http://photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=6638345. Lou Ann, I like what you've done with this engine; terrific colors and details. I agree with the comment that a lower point-of-view might have given you a bit more 'zing' but this is pretty cool as it is. Hey, friend, take care of yourself and send me an email and let me know how you're doing. Okay? Cheers! Christopher Link to comment
afs760bf 0 Posted November 15, 2007 Hi, Lou Ann, I really like this shot, and I like it straight-on because it keeps the lines vertical. Now who would decide to abandon a train in this particular place? I'm always curious as to how the decisions were made that made certain motorized pieces of equipment end up in certain places, never to be moved again. Anyway, a great shot and nice color.
