lmcinnis37 0 Posted November 11, 2007 Masterful mixture of light and shadow, pose, wardrobe, model and textures to create a pleasing, sensual pose. Everything works in concert with no distractions to nitpick over. Link to comment

michaelhills 0 Posted November 14, 2007 Thank you! I do prefer this colour version - which is strange for me as I'm usually a monochrome freak ;) Maybe my tastes are changing to the colour world for a litte while. Always good to push oneself into new realms... M :) Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted November 20, 2007 I prefer the colour one too. For some abstractions, I've seen it work well. Sometimes I wonder though why we see in colour when we want to photograph in b & W. I like the way you do your own thing. Copying does not lead to much. Link to comment
michaelhills 0 Posted December 13, 2007 Thank you, Peter. It is fascinating the psychology of why we shoot in colour and/or BW. And yes, I always try to do my own thing and try not to get too distracted by 'well meaning' creative feedback. I am certainly influenced by many great photographers, but hopefully I have also developed my own style as well. I've only been shooting for 4 years.... lets see where I am at in another 4 years time.... M :) Link to comment
