stormphotonet 1 Posted November 7, 2007 The streets of Dallas Texas are infested by cows with big long horns on some of the heads of the cows today November 07, 2007. It was left up to the cops and fireman in Dallas and just three or four cowboys to get things back under control. After that, city workman come on to clean up the mess, all the cow stuff? Things now are somewhat back in order but the smell said the Mayer will take some days to get out of the center of this lovely little city. Link to comment

3zs 0 Posted November 14, 2007 Hi ken - I grew up in Newark NJ and there was a slaughter house nearby in Elizabeth NJ. Once when I was a kid a driver on the way to the slaughterhouse stopped for a coffee and somehow all the cows/bulls escaped. I looked out my living room window and was face to face with a bull with big horns - not as big as this - he didnt like me looking and proceded to charge the house!!! He took the siding and some other stuff with him after he decided the house wasnt goingto give. This image just brought me back to when I was 6 years old...thanks for the flashback!BTW...very brave to stand this close...you never know what these guys will do. Especially with an 18mm lens!!!! japi 1 Posted November 20, 2007 Great photo, Ken, right time at the right place. Was this cow parade due to any kind of demonstration, or special reason ? Greetings from Portugal. Link to comment

deniselanterman 0 Posted November 22, 2007 Hi Ken, who was more curious to get so close - you or that beast ? Great capture. I love that the cattle are parading on the street. Also, a very big thank you for your wonderful holiday message. It touched my heart with it's warmth and wisdom. Cheers. Denise Link to comment
maria_di_liegro 0 Posted November 23, 2007 This is just great! The story that goes along with this is great too. Made me laugh. That's a daunting set of horns. I wouldn't want to mess with him in a dark alley ... ;) lol Nice shot!!! Maria Link to comment
