jayme 0 Posted November 7, 2007 Same image as previously posted with a slightly different crop. This one is not quite as high key as the previous image. A slight variation, just for fun. Link to comment
kslonaker 0 Posted November 8, 2007 To me, it seems MORE high-key, rather than less. There seems to be less detail in her hair and face. Nonetheless, another successful portrait! I like that she is NOT smiling and seems very serious. Link to comment
sashanp 0 Posted November 9, 2007 This is a great capture, the high key and her expression are perfect, the eyes dance. nicely done Link to comment
jayme 0 Posted November 9, 2007 Kim- I think what makes this one a little lower key than the other is that the background & her skin are not perfectly white. It's a little less than 255/255/255. Thus making a lower keyed image. Even though the detail may be a little less noticeable, it's still not white, more gray I think. I have thought about you & your move. How's things going? I hope well. Building & moving, a scary thought for me :) Link to comment
kslonaker 0 Posted November 14, 2007 Hi Jayme - obviously, I haven't been on PN much. Trying to sell old place and watching new one going up - stressful! Maybe my life will settle down soon. Great job with these studio kid pictures, btw! Link to comment
jayme 0 Posted November 15, 2007 I have been wondering how your relocation process was going. I feel for you. I swear I'm never moving again :) Too much stuff to move! Link to comment
kslonaker 0 Posted November 17, 2007 We rented a storage room and it's full! We gave a lot of stuff away AND filled almost two dumpsters (outside AND inside junk), although a lot was renovation garbage! Eight years worth of "stuff"! We've been watching HGTV and know you have to have a place looking very uncluttered to sell it, so that was a major challenge. I hate moving, too. Link to comment
jayme 0 Posted November 17, 2007 Last year I cleaned my basement :) Had a garage sale & all remaining went either to Goodwill or the dump :) It was a mad house! I do not envy you :) Glad it's you and not me! I still have 2 storage units full of stuff! Most from our move from a 14 room Victorian to a 7 room Cape-Cod! LOL I've been dragging this stuff around for almost 20 years. Time to say good by! Heck.... I haven't even visited either unit for at least 5 years! It can't be anything I want or need! jayme 0 Posted November 29, 2007 Thanks Xiang :) She was a treat. Such personality all rolled up in such a tiny little body :) Link to comment
