strings attached Mandolin 2086

One more in my on-going series of pictures of this mandolin.

The lighting is exquisite. You have just the edge of fret board without the bottom. That's no easy feat! The strings are well lit as are teh frets. And...nothing else. The minimalist approach works extremely well here. Oh, did I mention the crisp focus? I'm going to see if the lens you used is listed. Must have been a fast lens with low light.

This was shot with my new EF-S 60mm f/2.8 Macro lens. The bottom of the fretboard was easy to dissapear, it's made of ebony ;-)

 

This was shot with studio lighting, not w/ available light.
