baerbel 0 Posted November 10, 2007 Monica, every time I see a gathering of birds, the Hitchcock movie comes to my mind - and here they certainly look threatening, I thought. I appreciate you stopping by. :) Link to comment
katzpjs 50 Posted November 10, 2007 Well you do sort of resemble the blond, Tippi' Hedren who appeared in the movie. When you start photographing thousands of crows on the overhead wires I'll start to be worried about you. Link to comment
baerbel 0 Posted November 10, 2007 ..worried about me? I expect you do come to my rescue. Bring the cat. ;) Link to comment
katzpjs 50 Posted November 10, 2007 Rescue!!! I'll come with my camera to capture the event! Wilbur the cat is 17 years old now and no longer can chase birds, but when he was three years old he was once about a foot off the ground with his claws into the tail-feathers of a duck who had just managed to get airborne. It would have been very interesting for everyone had he actually caught the duck... Link to comment
baerbel 0 Posted November 10, 2007 Hahaha, spoken like a true photographer, and ole Wilbur is of no help either! But at least my demise will be seen and critiqued on photo.net. Will you delete the pic, should it get below a 6/6? That's the least you could do, my pal! :) Link to comment
iancoxleigh 0 Posted November 13, 2007 Great shot! I saw this on your No Words post and just had to come see it here to tell you how much I liked the image as a whole. The motion is great of course, but the colours are wonderful too. I'm not a fan of the person in the water though -- but, that is such a minor nit-pick. Link to comment
baerbel 0 Posted November 14, 2007 Thank you, Ian. And looking at my pic, I agree - it would work just as well without the person in the water, maybe even better. I joined PN to learn, so I really appreciate constructive comments as yours. Warm regards, Barb :) Link to comment
