paula grenside 0 Posted November 6, 2007 The natural frame of the fence provides an excellent entrance to the castle, Henri. Link to comment
treeffe 0 Posted November 9, 2007 I like this one with the cave like a natural frame, not too much invasive but enough to describe the situation. The exposure balance is very good leaving details on the cave. Best regards Fabio Link to comment
hanna_cowpe 0 Posted November 9, 2007 Henri, this is an interesting viewpoint and I particularly like the light coming through the fence, and the furrows in the field which lead to the chateau. It is good that you frequently show several images of a place you have visited to help the viewer get an impression of the surroundings. Here you have three quite different outlooks and it seems a very attractive location. Link to comment

katzpjs 50 Posted November 10, 2007 I always love to see landscapes with natural framing such as this. With the fence, steps and the castle in the distance this image has enough of interest to capture the attention. Very nice. Link to comment
aepelbacher 0 Posted November 17, 2007 I agree! Nicely framed. I really like that chateau on the hill. Link to comment
ldavidson 4 Posted November 17, 2007 Another beautiful image from you Henri. It looks like it is rock, a cave perhaps? I thought, in the previous shot, that it was giant tree branches framing the castle. I love the contrast of between this dark dwelling, the natural fence and the beautiful castle on the hill. A wonderful composition. Link to comment
henrimanguy 0 Posted November 17, 2007 Thank you Lou Ann and Linda. Yes Linda, the two shots are taken from a troglodytic house, that is to say a house dug in the rock. Link to comment
aginbyte 0 Posted November 17, 2007 ... Le Roy's hero might have looked on the same scene in the Perigord. Link to comment
davidorea 1 Posted November 18, 2007 Very nice composition, Henri. The shapes and colors are great. Good shot! Regards Link to comment
maria hrabinska 0 Posted November 18, 2007 For the first look the composition looks to be too complicated, by finally, after more serious studying the scene, it works very well here. The alternating light and shadow make the scene even more dramatic.regards, maria Link to comment
