wogears 186 Posted November 5, 2007 Wonderful color and sharpness. Perfect use of reflection and light. Do you mind my asking what lens you used, and what tripod (if any)? Link to comment
yinkamd 0 Posted November 5, 2007 Thanks. I used a Canon 100 mm f2.8 macro mounted on a tripod. I always use a tripod for landscapes. I stitched the panorama using Photostitch. Best wishes Yinka Link to comment
wogears 186 Posted November 5, 2007 Yinka: Thanks for the technical details. Normally I ignore things like that, but the sharpness is a huge contributor to the success of this image. I guess I need to try my 60mm Nikkor (also an incredibly sharp lens) for panos. I just never thought of it! Again, congratulations on a wonderful image. Link to comment
pmcooper 0 Posted November 7, 2007 This is hands down one of the most eye catching photos I have ever seen on this site. The stillness of the water, for the crystal clear reflection, and the fall colors make me sit and stare at the photo, which is what we all desire from one of our own photos. Great job! I'm jealous I didn't take it. Link to comment
