When Im doing street shots, sometimes I pick my place with the perfect lighting, the great lines, and I sit for hours waiting for the perfect people to pop up doing the perfect thing. Other times, I see something as I am walking by and a light goes on in my head, and a voice screams "take the shot" this is a great place with great lighting, but you didn't wait for the perfect people to come up doing the perfect thing...I do like the shadows that they created though.

Thanks for your comment Jennifer. You're right when you say these aren't the most interesting subjects I could have got here, but in this case it wasn't possible for me to wait long pointing the camera, just a few seconds actually, as the guys who use to hang out in this street are all immigrants (illegal) and thus with a natural fear of being photographed. Protests against me and my camera quickly started arising and I ended up staying there over 20min chatting with a couple of them to assure them I wasn't going to use their photos for anything that might prejudice them.
