ryourth 0 Posted November 4, 2007 Stephen, what a simple but strong image. Of the two I like this one better due to the increased tonal range. The walkaway captures & holds the eye from what feels like a safe spot in the foreground to the unknown at the far end.Love images that create an emotional respnse. Gotta say," Fog loving photographers must believe they live in paradise in your part of the country. Regards_Ross Link to comment
stp 6 Posted November 5, 2007 Ross, thanks. I did some work on this in response to a suggestion from Brad Kim (which I much appreciated) (also, I've deleted the first posting; just trying to keep the # of photos down). Link to comment

sketch_tbhotmail.com 11 Posted November 6, 2007 I too am waiting for the fog banks to really roll in. The type that sits for a week without moving an inch. I really like the perspective here Stephen, also the way the trees are there but not quite discernable. Very nice choice to go with b&w. I'd be curious to see what a slightly more imposing vignet would do in terms of mood. Ry Link to comment
cjtj50 0 Posted November 6, 2007 This is absolutely breath taking. I love the mystery of these type of photos. Very good composition. 7/7 I also read your bio and happy your cancer free. So am I but I was lucky and didnt have to do radiation or other (a rough year though). Peace to you and yours! Take care Link to comment
bobbyc 0 Posted December 12, 2010 Hi Stephen, thanks for your comment. Your idea of looking at the rock from a higher perspective is interesting. Cheers Link to comment
