Wonderful colors, Yinka, congrats! The lower part looks like surrealist and pleases me more. Maybe you could trim the image just after the house's hoofs in the upper part. But it is just a thought, the image is very beautiful anyway!

Thanks. I was just in the right place at the right time. I drove all over New Jersey and Pennsylvania every morning from 5 am to find this place. I drove 120 miles this morning to get this shot

How do you achieve a square format with a Canon Rebel? This is the camera he said he uses.

This is a very good shot, ratings are subjective. Truthfully, I've had some photos I was very proud of but few other people liked. And I've had some that I thought were just barely sharable and people loved them.

 

If you don't like the ratings feature, you can turn it off. People might prefer shots of naked women, or little puppies, or mushrooms to colorful autumn colors.

 

But I think your efforts payed off. Actually when you look closely, you missed the peak by a little bit, and the shot is still very good!!!
