jayme 0 Posted November 3, 2007 I would appreciate any feedback about this image. This is the first in a new series I am creating :)Thanks for looking. Link to comment
aepelbacher 0 Posted November 5, 2007 No way! I can't believe that he's that old!! He looks about 65 or maybe 70. Good for him! I really like both of these shots, Jayme - the color and lighting seem spot-on. Is this a new direction for your business? Link to comment
jayme 0 Posted November 6, 2007 I am doing a new project :) We have some really interesting older patients. I've been going to photograph them for years :) Now that I have the space & time, I decided to actually do it :) I agree about Bob. He really does looks about 65-70 not 89 by any means. He loves the ladies :) I think this keeps him young. Florence is his lady friend :) Today I am shooting 3 & 10 year old siblings :) (girl 3 & boy 10). So, I am not really changing much, just trying something new for fun :) Link to comment
kslonaker 0 Posted November 8, 2007 I like this one, too, and agree he does NOT look his age at all! I thought for sure you meant "1938", not 1918! Link to comment
jayme 0 Posted November 9, 2007 Kim- He's a real character. I feel fortunate to know him :) He was the very first person I thought of when I thought about doing this project. He told me during the session he had just moved into a condo & sold his home. He stated he knew he needed a change & was no longer able to mow the grass. He said, "I'm just getting too darned old to do that anymore." He called me later to say that he had found his old box camera from years ago & several frames that he wanted me to take as a gift for taking his picture. I was thrilled to say the least. I told him I think I got the better end of that deal :) He is a kind & generous man :) His secret to a youthful life! Link to comment
