davidclapp 0 Posted November 2, 2007 God I hate Autumn, I have just wasted four days of my life wandering forests with absolutely nothing to show for it except this shot. The leaves are backlit with evening sunshine, the color was literally off the scale. Anyway hope you like it. Link to comment
ryourth 0 Posted November 3, 2007 Heh David. I'd wander for eight days to capture an image as nice as this one. Beautiful composition. Regards-Ross Link to comment

dugstervision 0 Posted November 5, 2007 Nice composition without clutter. Well done, sir! I like the very dark tree bark. Yeah- nice color too. Did you use any sharpening? Link to comment
romangolubenko 0 Posted November 5, 2007 I really do not like Autumn too. But this photo is great. What type of lens did you use for this shot? Link to comment
davidclapp 0 Posted November 5, 2007 It was the Canon 24-105, I have a really good version with lots of colour and contrast, dont point it at anything linear though! Link to comment
younes 0 Posted November 6, 2007 I wouldn't mind wasting my life if I could get shots like these :-). I usually do not like human elements in a landscape, but you've managed to integrate that wall beatifully. Also love the velvety texture on the wall. Nicely done. Link to comment
bretsch 0 Posted November 29, 2007 As someone that lives in a place where autumn seldom looks any different than spring or summer, I admire pictures like this. So I was intrigued by your opening statement, I would imagine that scenes like this one would be more common than they are....Not that being a common scene makes it easier to photograph, there is a lot of autumn pictures that are really boring, even for someone that lives in the tropics.
