Beautiful colors of landscape against the desert blue skies. Definetly not a 3/3 Has the look of a painting.

Babel fish translation of Antonio's comment: "Of so real that it is, it seems a window to that place." Thank you Antonio for your very kind comment. Dan

Dan, this is superb. I don't think the lighting, colours composition could be better. Outstanding. It must look great in mono as well with all those different tones.

Thank you for your comments David. It is funny. I often prefer B&W images, but this one didn't work out as well as I hoped it would. I preferred the color version.

Superb composition and wonderful colors. It almost looks 3 dimensional on my screen. Well done! Regards, Barb :)

Beautiful SouthWest image, it's so good to look at this when it's all cold and snowy outside now. Beautiful composition, very clear throughout.

Dan, I like the colors, but I would like to see less contrast (especially since you used the 5D). The shadows should hold a litle more detail instead of being so dark (almost black). Sorry, but it just screams DIGITAL as it is....

Just my 2-cents worth,

Tex (Charles), thank you for your comment. I do agree with what you said, except this was, in fact, the look I was going for. The strong contrast, to my eye, brings a emotional harshness. Now, you could be correct that reducing the contrast would make it more aesthetically pleasing. I played with it, but this version had the emotion that I was looking for. As always, I am probably wrong, and I very much appreciate your comment. It is nice to have a dialog about these things. Thanks again. Dan
