JatinderKeith 0 Posted November 1, 2007 It is a beautiful scene with some avaoidable distraction. This crop is more appealing to my eye. Link to comment
Leonard-just-Leonard 8 Posted November 1, 2007 You have a good eye for composition, thanks for the input. Take a look at this portfolio (Waterton 2007 - Scenery) and you can see I experimented with different foregrounds and settings around this marsh. The way you cropped it looks somewhat similiar to my last post, so today I wanted to try a different effect. Once again, thanks for taking the time to critique, crop and comment. regards Link to comment
JatinderKeith 0 Posted November 1, 2007 Leonard, yes your photo 'Autumn Darkness Descends' is quiet similar to my suggested crop. In it the water mass looks static and a lake. In this picture as I cropped it, the sweeping curve of the water mass gives it the dynamic feel of a river. I find the view very serene. You may like to post the cropped picture to see if the PN members react to it differently. Link to comment
ryourth 0 Posted November 7, 2007 Like this image, feel as if I am standing on the bank looking at a very quite scene.Late autunm with its low muted colours is my favourite time of the year.Your image conveys to me the feeling that those clouds will soon be dropping their first snow of the season. All in all, a very nice picture All in all a very pleasing image.
