Thats just sick. Its alot of things we cant see, but with the beautiful thing called camera and macro-lenses + a dedicated photographer we get to see these incredible small cool looking guys.

Those flashy tales and that strange looking bodyshape is just incredible!

Good composition and backround, i would like a bit less that flash-feeling to it. Are they sitting on a thorn?

wonderful shot. Almost like a mug shot (frontal and sideway) composition :D I agree with both previous comments, those who rate 3/3 and 4/4 on these kind of shots have no idea what it takes to come up with an image like this. Well done. Regards - Michel

Difficult shot Birte. Were you using the MP65 and to answer your frog question it was from up north on my last trip

Well the common name is mealy bug and since this is not a scientific site, its easier to explain it that way, everyone who has a garden knows these things.
