sketch_tbhotmail.com 11 Posted November 6, 2007 Really nice shallow depth of field here, I'd consider cropping it into a pano though. I don't feel that the darker area at the top helps this much. I like. Link to comment
mikepalo 0 Posted November 6, 2007 I like it, Really sharp on the Kangaroos I agree with /\ thought the dark up top doesn't do anything for the photo and the layer of out of focus bothers me at the bottom. Was the camera really low to the ground or something? that is the only - to the photo, IMO. Great job otherwise keep it up. - Mike Possible Pano Cropping I think its nice like this.. Link to comment
seancrane 0 Posted November 6, 2007 Hey Michael and Ryan, Thanks for the critiques. The pano crop does look pretty good and perhaps I'll make the change. I guess, to me, the dark area up top gives a little depth to the landscape, but maybe that's just because I know those are the distant mountains up there. I wasn't necessarily low to the ground but I was low to the subjects, given the rise of the landscape. Plus, I shot with a 600mm lens, providing the very narrow depth of field. Link to comment
