mg 0 Posted February 21, 2009 Not posed - unlike many other shots in this folder... Therefore imo stronger. Well ok, there's nothing wrong with poses generally speaking, but kids are something special: they hardly want to stay still, and hardly ever will they therefore look natural when asked for a photo. Here's a suggestion that will take time if you try to follow it: let them play, take a seat 7 to 10 meters away from them with a zoom like 80-200mm or such, and stay with your camera pointed on them all the time, silently. Don't ask anything from them. After a while, this is what should happen: 1) They will know you are there, but will forget your camera, and will therefore be natural all the way. 2) You will slowly get accustomed to their little playing habits and will soon be able to anticipate what the kid(s) is (are) going to do next. Which means you will miss a few great occasions, but should be able to catch some great moments once you are ready to take care of them before they happen... Cheers. Link to comment
