Joe,this is an unusual execution, and interesting. It has the qualities of an "abstract" and the features of a real portrait. The light and B/W are working very well.Beautiful

Well, Joe, I see you, too, are having fun with PS, though I suspect with layers on this one more than filters. Gotta tell you I just love the composition... without going into detail, it just works, and very well! There just isn't anything here I'd change. Beautifully done, sir! Warm regards, David

Yes, this is an unusual portrait that evolved as I worked on it. It is basically a real portrait with many ps layer alterations added in an attempt to visually represent the mood and thoughts I had when viewing the original image. (I'll probably post the original someday.) But, as we all know, it is not the shooter's mood or thoughts that matter once an image is viewed by others. I'm glad that you noticed and responded. Thank you, my friends. Warm regards, Joe

Great black and white, reminiscent of a interesting negative begging to be printed with our imagination.

Very interesting work, cryptic portrait title. Would be nice to see the original picture just for comparison. Inspired work of passion for b/w photography. Best regards, Mario.

Fascinating and inspired rendition. I like the way you have taken this reductionist approach and limited the tones to large blocks of uniformity. Skin without texture at approx.neutral grey gives a very interesting effect.

Outstanding, it seems like a mask, not a venetian carnival one, but reminding a dramatic opera. The diagonal composition with strong contrasts render a captivating portrait. Strange one Joseph, because it is slightly different from your style, nevertheless still having your signature, meaning priority on aesthetics. Unforgettable.

Lovely rendition here, Joe. Takes us back in time to the classic Hollywood pportraits of Hurrell and Heine. Lovely work, as usual. Regards.
