amazing details and brightness Linda. Did you do this in the studio? how did you accomplish the dark background? Great work in any case. (I tried to rate this 7/7 but it was disallowed just know that i consider it a 7/7)Regards - michel

I will go. Very beautiful. I also have the same question as Michel, do you have made it in the studio? and I rate it 7/7 from me and for Michel, that was not allowed.

Rashed, Thank you!

John, Thanks for the comment.

Michel, This was was done in Photoshop. I burned out a few distracting twigs in the background. I also adjusted the levels a little to give it more contrast. I'm not very educated botanically, I believe this is a type of Lichen. It grows everywhere here in the interior of British Columbia. It is so brilliant it is almost fluorescent. It is wonderful to photograph. Thanks for commenting.

Joao, Thank you so much. As I said above to Michel it was modified a bit in Photoshop.

Linda thank you for your reply. I'm realy surprised this is not a studio shot, you did a wonderful job at isolating your subject and eliminating the background in PS. Very well done. Regards - michel

I like how well focused this is. The details and colors are so well captured. It reminds me vaguely of a bird depicted in a totem. It feels like artwork from a museum.
