My feeling is this is NOT a photograph, but rather the fantasy alluded to in your caption.

A very nice picture of a painting I might add.

IF, in fact it is an actual photograph, tell me how much and I would like to purchase said property ;-)

ps after reading the latest post I now realize it is the dog and the lighting on it's back that are totally out of place

Just being honest...doesn't look like a photograph to me and regardless, put it on velvet and it might sell...that is, if you remove what seems to be a poodle(of all dogs to be hanging around in the woods) from the pic.

Thanks for all of your nice comments. This was placed under digital alterations but it is amazing what one can do with Corel Painter and Photo shop.

John, as for the 'poodle', she has been on many extended back-country treks with us. You probably aren't aware that poodles are hunting dogs and were originally used for waterfowl. Society has changed their role, they haven't.

Dave! You have done a fantastic job here. This is one you should print and

have on your wall. The mood is so inviting!!! I really like it! Regards Andrea

This is the stuff dreams are made of.....painting or digitally altered photo makes no difference to me, it's still a wonderful image to conjure up a place we'd all like to be if only for a brief moment in time. I had a friend once that won a bird dog trial with a Standard Poodle!

forgive me for being a bit of an ass...or maybe, a whole lot of an ass...sometimes i just say what i think. there's not doubt it a masterpiece in this genre of photography...just not my cup of tea. but everyone would be bored if all they had to look at was my photos....best regards, john

Just to explain in the event this is viewed again.

There are 2 actual 'photos', one of myself taken on a bench so that I could place it into the photo and on the chair.  The other is my dog and I should have placed her under the light of the window but, I didn't.  Maybe I should re-work it?
