any shot of a bowman will get my vote. A bow woman will get 2... (just some allure of the bow, i havent done it in ages though...).

What i like best is the water sheeting off the bow as his weight pushes it down into the wave, but the water is disturbed enough to be opaque so you get a neat distorted view of the windward bow. The water jetting off to leeward bow, while not as exciting as some other images, is still an interesting part of this picture. The contrast is spot on, you have some deep blacks, and good whites. I like the shorter DOF highlighting the bow.
