Guest Guest Posted October 25, 2007 I always love a good stream or gentle water fall. Makes me want to get in. L like the layout too. I have attached my version with altered color. Link to comment
karl.jahr 0 Posted October 25, 2007 No, Peter, I don't think your altered colors improved this picture. It lives from the eerie blue. I also like the (near) square format which makes it more interesting. Just one suggestion to Giedrius: Please constrain the size of your picture postings to max 750 px wide and 450 px high. That prevents the need for scrolling on most screens. Link to comment
mg 0 Posted October 25, 2007 I think a very mild addition of a less saturated blue was ok, but here it's a bit too much. I'm also trying to understand what was the post-production work here exactly. Would be great to see the original image. I like many things about this, especially the composition, the water and rocks details, but I suspect I'd like it even more with a bit less Photoshop involved... Could we see the original or some other less manipulated versions perhaps ? Cheers. Link to comment
antoniobassiphotography 0 Posted October 25, 2007 Great Giedrius, I love it, it is a very unconventional and not-boring-at-all nature shot. I'd like to know what camera/lens you used. Great job. Link to comment
giedlius 0 Posted October 26, 2007 Hello. I am using my old Minolta maxxum film camera or digital Dynax 7d. This image is done using only digital images. I don't remember lenses. But nothing special. Probably 28-100 KIT. Image consists of 6 different images. Two waterfalls, sitting boy, river and bank of the river. The last one is layer with different type of painting. And as you can see I like wash-drawing :) Link to comment
