regis 0 Posted October 25, 2007 Beach at West Kilbride with Isle of Arran visible in the distance. A place full of amazing structures, creatures, shapes and textures - when the tide is low. These underlying rocks are red Permo-triassic sandstone about 200 Million years old - so the colour of the sand is kind'a red. View large version please.
