The Door to Monks Quarter

Hi all

 

I am a beginner in photography and this is a first comment I am making.

 

Personally, I like this photo but a more appropriate composition would have made this more beautiful. Anyways the color contrast with white light is great that makes the photograph stand out. Moreover, the dark room adds a bit more drama to the shape and posture of the monks standing.

 

I would give 6.5 on 10.

Could you please specify, what you meant by "proper composition" and what would you do in the "dark room" to make this a better photograph ?. I would appreciate very much to be able to learn making a better photo out of this snapshot. Thanks.

by dark room I meant the black space behind the monks. It already looks great and doesnt need any changes to make it better.
