tmjacobs 0 Posted October 24, 2007 A nice sunset at the end of a dull grey day. Stitched from 4 vertical HDR images (so 12 photos were taken for this). Comments welcome, please view the large version. Link to comment
jana 1 Posted October 24, 2007 Nice scene. Though I think You can improve the image. With some colour management (get rid of the grey film ) and different composition (more stress on the dramatic and intersting sky & be careful about the edges ) You can end up with a fantastic photograph. cheers Jana Link to comment
tmjacobs 0 Posted October 24, 2007 Thanks for your comments. Jana, I know I can improve the image but I want it to be true to what I saw when I was there: the hills in the distance had very little detail because of the haziness. It simply wasn't more 'fantastic' as this. Link to comment
aginbyte 0 Posted October 24, 2007 ... the composition features the nearly leafless tree on the left as the key element, and then you have the warm sky over the grey hills. As usual in these stitched HDR panos of yours, the detail is extraordinary. Seen larger this is a beautiful, if a bit stark, image. Congratulations. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted October 24, 2007 What a wonderful scene you've captured! What software are you using to stitch together your HDR images? Link to comment
tmjacobs 0 Posted October 24, 2007 Thanks Zack, I use Photomatix almost always, very occasionally I use the photomerge option in Photoshop CS3. Link to comment
