adan1 0 Posted October 22, 2007 This composition feels like an orchestrated dance. The sense of movement is exciting coupled with amazing dof, colors and details. Interesting addition of the different bird on the left side. A territorial dispute perhaps? It's a 10! The drama and action just grab you attention. Link to comment
bob bielecki 0 Posted October 22, 2007 I agree with all the other comments. Great sharpness, exposure and composition. Link to comment
bretsch 0 Posted October 24, 2007 It certainly is an image to admire; it has wonderful colors, great use of light and quite an intriguing assortment of Titans ;) Congratulations! Link to comment
jan_piller 0 Posted October 24, 2007 Nice stop action! How are you getting so close to these guys? Usually I have to throw french fries to get them this close! Link to comment
Emmanuel Enyinwa 0 Posted October 24, 2007 This one was a bit interesting. I laid on my back on the beach on an overcast weekday afternoon when the beach was deserted. There were houses along the shore, so I had to shoot from a low vantage point to get them out of the frame. There was a smaill sand hedge next to where I was, allowing for the nice brown earth in the pic. The rest was easy: throw crackers at them and watch them scramble for them. Tacky, but effective. jeffl7 0 Posted October 25, 2007 Tacky it is not. Chaotic and intentionally so. I love the white domed heads and edges of the wings against the soft gray-blue background. The crispness of the main characters is remarkable, and I love the overall color scheme. Tumultuous and full of life. Link to comment
joe-tury 0 Posted October 25, 2007 Hey the cloudy sky looks great! I enjoy the monotone colours very much. The chaotic scene has been captured in sharp detail. Could be your best bird image so far! Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted October 25, 2007 I like this one a lot, Emmanuel. It's an unusual instance of the bird-shot genre, and that is in part, I think, what I like about it. I also like the greyish colors and the dynamic configuration of the bird. Link to comment
laurent_jaussi 0 Posted October 25, 2007 Now this is a nicely original Bird image, fully of energy and creative chaos as one could say....as you might understand since you commented some picture of mine...Bird images are not my daily cup of tea...I do enjoy some of yours and especially this later very, very much...light, clarity, dynamism a bit of frenzy and chaos...chaotic enough to be highly dynamic, organized enough to be extraordinary pleasing to the eye...well in one word: wonderful ! Jack McRitchie 150 Posted October 26, 2007 Great shot, Emmanuel, as beutifully composed as a painting, really a stroke of fortune to get the birds posed just so; fantastic negative space as well. Link to comment
joanbn 0 Posted October 26, 2007 A great capture. People on the beach dislike feeding birds but this one was worth it. Thanks for all your comments in my portfolio. Link to comment

lesa jones 0 Posted October 30, 2007 Amazing capture Emmanuel!! When I go to the beach, I always enjoy the sea gulls, UNTIL I pull out my sandwich and they begin to invade my personal space! Coastal birds are great photographic opportunities though. Although I will admit that I had a run in (literally) with a pelican yesterday on my way home from work. I believe my Ford Explorer won the battle though, only suffering a torn off radio antenna. Poor pelican!! I ramble...congrats on a wonderful capture.....regards...LJ Link to comment
