Woodland Angel

This is the third straight Saturday I've visited this group of fungi. They were brilliant orange the first, faded to ivory last week and showing mildew today. There are a few shots from each visit in my portfolio. I think this is one of the best of the entire series (and the only one from this perspective--why didn't I think of this before?) I just might pay another visit next week.

Just when you thought I was finished with fungi!

Thanks for noticing, Lesa! There's not much in the way of color here but I thought it made for an interesting composition.
