Panorama of Beinn Dorain and Beinn Odhar - taken from the slopes of

Beinn Bhreg (I know - these names are crazy :D) Stitched from 6

vertical shots and merged in Panorama Tools.

Down in the centre of the photo you can see 3 most famous "roads" in

Scotland.

One - is the scenic and spectacular A82 (the principal route from

Lowland Scotland to the western Scottish Highlands, running from

Glasgow to Inverness)

Second is West Highland Way (a long distance [152 km (95 mi)]

footpath, running from Milngavie north of Glasgow to Fort William).

Finally - West Highland Line (one of the most scenic railway lines

in Britain, linking the fishing port of Mallaig on the west coast to

Glasgow).

... beautiful job setting up and capturing this panorama. The sweep of the valleys through the hills is quite nice.

Indeed, excellent work. I was thru here in March, but it rained so hard could barely see the shoulder of highway; now I know what i missed!

Thank you for your comments. I appreciate it.

Les & Timothy - i know what you mean. I have passed this place so many times and only two or three times the weather was exactly what I needed. As far as I remember this shot was taken in late August'07 and the morning shadows were long enough to emphasise the whole great space around.

Cheers, Piotr
