rekaras 0 Posted October 19, 2007 Boy this is a tough call. I like the cropping on this one with more of the fields diagonal showing over your first posting but I like the stronger contrast of the darker clouds on the first one. Toss up... Thanks for all your comments on my recent submissions. It is curious that you mentioned the size on my images because you are not the first. I have changed to a larger images in the past but I don't understand if others are seeing them smaller. Most of the submissions from members I view are the same size as mine on my screen as are yours. Some are indeed larger but I can't view the entire image without scrolling down which doesn't do the capture justice as I cannot view the image as a whole. Anyway thanks again, rek. Link to comment
paula grenside 0 Posted October 19, 2007 I like this cropping better, Henri: the lawn and more green frame the castle beautifully. Link to comment
mrhaydon 0 Posted October 21, 2007 A very nice composition Henri. It is sometimes difficult to do a landscape in full sunlight, but with the dark clouds and strong greens here, I would be happy to have this on my wall. Best regards Michael. Link to comment
romeyer.jp 0 Posted October 22, 2007 The light is definitely making the shot ! Beautiful colors too, well done. Link to comment
LenMarriott 9 Posted October 23, 2007 Henri, I feel the same dilemma as Richard & for exactly those reasons. If pushed between a rock and a hard place I'd chose this one for the foreground diagonals and deeply regret the loss of the superior sky in the other offering. In both you were blessed with dramatic spotlighting on your subject. Nice result(s). Best, LM. Link to comment
