Autumn

LenMarriott

Spotted on a walking tour of this area. Thought it worthy of a frame or two. Polarizing filter, tripod, MLU, cable release. Best, LM.

Who could pass through such a colourful area with a camera & not

record it? Your thoughts\critiques will be gratefully received.

Best, LM.

nice colors, cool format - works very good with the content of the foto

maybe a frame with less orange and more black on the outside would work even better, just my humble oppinion :)

Adrian, As advertised, your comment is gratefully received. I see by your folders that you are no stranger to a nice autumn shot. As I said before, who wouldn't be moved to capture this seasonal beauty. Best, LM.

Patrick, Thanks for happening by. Comments are the main attraction for me as I'm not into the ratings scene. Glad you enjoyed the shot. The frame is really easy to change & I probably will as I agree the rather thick orange accent is a little overpowering. It should compliment the shot rather than compete with it for attention. Best, LM.

Very nice frame of autumn. well composed. I like the smi diagonal long branch/tree that traverse the frame, make it interesting. Also the still green trees in the lower part, and very colorful in their changing mode in the upper one. Beautiful atmospher!

Pnina, I like your term 'frame of autumn'. Very fitting. I felt that the diagonal sapling kind of ties all the vertical lines together nicely. The green trees at the bottom will surely stay that way through the winter but the warmer colours' days are indeed numbered. Thanks for taking the time. Best, LM.

Henri, Thanks for taking the time to stop by with your observations. The branches didn't really bother me too much but I did try to minimize their effect by placing them in the lower left corner. The rather flat lighting also aids in reducing their effect. It's a busy but authentic scene, the main attraction, for me, being the colours. Best, LM.
