leo burkey 0 Posted October 18, 2007 The small villages around Scotland are filled with such seaside scenes. The cobblestone streets, stone and brick buildings and the fisherman's nets and traps abound. They have that quaint village atmosphere that I find irresistible for photography. This was taken on an overcast rainy day and I increased the the rather flat scene with normal plus development. I used curves layers to increase the contrast even futher and give more separation of the values. I toned this with a combination of selenium and Ektalure Cream tones. As always comments are welcome. lonebearimages 0 Posted October 18, 2007 Beautiful architectural image, Leo. I really like the details that are evident in this shot. Wonderful range of tones too. Nifty composition, and the pile of lobster/crab traps is excellent. Excellent work, my friend. A 7/6 anonymously. Cheers! Chris Link to comment
