glaucodattini 0 Posted October 16, 2007 Composition is very good, also beautiful tones and details. Best regards! Glauco Link to comment
LenMarriott 9 Posted October 16, 2007 Glen, Your vertical composition is almost a no-brainer. Your decision for such a low viewpoint, though, is masterful. Beautiful in colour and in the depth portrayed. Tough to get a different look from such common subject matter but you've pulled it off. Most impressive! More depth to your technical info would be appreciated. Best, LM. Link to comment
lalit 0 Posted October 16, 2007 One of the most interesting seascape I have seen in months. Glen did you use HDR to process it? Link to comment
zigzag 0 Posted October 17, 2007 Some details: Canon 30D, 10mm, Av f/16, 1/8s, AEB -1.33,0,+1.33, only the 0 and -1.33 used. Above the horizon is the dark frame, below the horizon is the 0 frame. Due to the dynamic nature, didn't use HDR but a join of two tripod aligned exposures. No filters. Link to comment
zambaras 0 Posted October 17, 2007 Excellent execution! I would be tempted to crop it narrowly i.e to keep the top, say, 1/3, and turn it into one more spectacular photo. Link to comment
dianadeaver 0 Posted October 25, 2007 This is very masterfully done. Your knowledge and skill with the camera is impressive. Link to comment
henderson 0 Posted October 31, 2007 Fantastic shot, Glen! I love the contrast between the sharp bubbles in the foreground, and the moving foam beside it. You've managed to combine two exposures in a very believable way - it must have been a bit tricky getting the orange hilights on the rock to match the color of the setting sun. I wouldn't crop anything from this shot. I think it works very well as is. Well done! Link to comment
KenPapai 37 Posted November 9, 2007 Glen -- superb! Wow using 10mm (EF-S) on your 30D. Excellent composition, shutter speed, study, light... I could go on and on! Bravo. Link to comment
leora 3 Posted July 4, 2009 This is a spectacular photo, Glen. Quite a primeval landscape! You caught the golden glow from the sun just right...and you must have a very sure footing on those rocks. Cheers, Leora Link to comment
