Lannie very " clean" execution.Interesting color melange, very good DOF till the vanishing point, what is really amazing is that there are no people here, even Manolis is glad they are not present....

Thanks, everyone.

Pnina, the colors are not accurate. Adjusting levels and contrast to try to get some texture to the sky (and brightness to the foreground) made the beaches a strange color. Florida beaches are white when dry, gray when wet.

There was a thunderstorm to the right, over the mainland, which was blocking direct sunlight on the boardwalk. The trees are newly planted and appear to be windblown, when in fact there are very few long fronds to blow.

Thanks go to Wayne Melia for the idea, although Wayne's version resulted in virtually orange sand.

Hi Landrum - lovely, well-composed Florida photo with a very interesting perspective. If you're a PhotoShop user (or similar photo management software), you might try selecting the color from the sand only and desaturating. No big deal, though. This capture is wonderful. Cheers -
