At first glance this does not seem to be a casual conversation among equals. The positioning of the bodies suggests a hierarchy of some type. Perhaps age or title. I think of a father/son or teacher/student type of relationship here. The figure on the right gives the impression of someone supplicating while the one on the left listens and ultimately has the last word. It is amazing how prolific you are as an artist Pnina. To convey so much through mere shadows is just mindblowing.

I love it when you follow the light, Pnina! :-) This is a fun shot ... you can just imagine the one on the right talking with lots of hand motions. And the other standing and listening quietly. Nicely done.

Adan and Lou Ann,it was very bizarre how the light reflected the scene with the shadowes.Adan, your evaluation about hierarchy was right! what an observation.

I thought they are builders, or a builder on the right (woman?!) and the boss on the left, explaining (or discussing) the next steps. Perhaps this is the strong influence of the perfect wall - perhaps the spatula-like shaddow at the end of the right-figure's hand, perhaps both. Nice capture. Good day Pnina.

Pnina, a very intriguing shot. I think that shadow and silhouette images always make the viewer do some work. Very different poses here - shadow on the left is listening, shadow on the right is talking and holding what looks like a trowel, but many possible interpretations. An effective touch is the shadow of the tree on the left. Perfect background.

I saw this as the backdrop to a Grecian play. There's such tension in the crouching figures stance in comparison to the superior indifference of the standing figure. I'm not sure what's occurring here, but I'm glad for the blank wall that gives me a place to focus for a moment as a break in the tension. The arrangement of the shadows works well. The uppermost right shadow prevents the eye from escaping.

I like this very much. It speaks as loudly as your musicians play..

All the right gestures are there for a dialogue, but at the moment only the person to the right seems to speak, supporting his arguments with a written text. The other person is clearly listening but sure of himself and his unspoken convictions.

A photo should tell a story. This one surely does.

The photo is mine, the STORIES ARE YOURS! great to read them!

Anders, your story is the closest to the real one...

Dear Pnina, I like this a lot. A picture is worth a thousand words. It also reminded me of a Hebrew saying mentioned by you before."There are people who are buying their world in an hour" So, I am thinking that actually in an hour the shadows changes, so are we. BTW, I'm coming with my mum to Israel in Mid March next Year. Hope to see you there. :0) Shalom

Pnina. This is a wonderful image. There is so much in it. I can stare at it for a long time and think! It is quiet and understated, but there is also has a tension just below the surface, in the shadows. Thank you for posting something out of the ordinary.

I could say much, but I'd rather spend my time here looking at this image and being led to interesting places by its subtleties. A very fine shot! Regards, Joe

Many possible interpretations, I see one person standing on the top of the building ready to jump and the another is ready to catch him/her.Well done.

Shadows are so powerfull to trigger the imagination...you have only a trace of the image and have to reconstruct the whole mentally using your imagination...very nice attitude and expression...
