paulstenquist 4 Posted October 12, 2007 Stunning. Beautiful color and tonality. It appears seamless to me, and the perspective feels natural. Excellent work. Link to comment
pimderuijter 0 Posted October 12, 2007 Extremely good job! I'm very surprised by the colors and contrast. Did you use PS or a HDR-program for this? Link to comment
jeichenberg 0 Posted October 12, 2007 This is really a wicked shot! I love it! However did you burn in those clouds? There seems to be a lighter "halo" effect around the buildings and trees? Perhaps those areas need to be darkened? Link to comment
glenn norris 0 Posted October 12, 2007 Thank you all so much. Yes, this was done with an hdr program - photomatix. And yes, the haloes are a problem I worked on for a while. These always look better in print... perhaps the ink bleed covers the haloes a little... Anyway, I appreciate the comments and hope to do more of this kind of work. Glenn Link to comment
jeichenberg 0 Posted October 12, 2007 Do you have photoshop? I have changed my mind, I don't think you should darken the "halos". What I would do would be to make a mask around the dark area and lighten to match the lighter area around the buildings. Again really fantastic shot!! Link to comment
