jcpopper 0 Posted October 11, 2007 The man in the shot is telling the public about a dispute between his union and the owners of a large grocery store. The workers in the store were union members for years, but then the store was sold to a larger company and the new owners didn't rehire many of the union members. Now the union is asking the public not to shop there until the dispute is settled. I hope this makes some sense. Thanks for taking a look at this shot. Regards... Link to comment

bramadan 0 Posted October 11, 2007 I like the man's expression and shaded eyes. Gives the feeling of staunch resolve that is in keeping with the picket sign. Good photo. Link to comment

dseltzer 0 Posted October 13, 2007 Staunch *and* so very determined! Great capture. I also can't help commenting on the way this picture pops... that should be POPS! I love the tack sharpness and wonderful contrast you have here, and without losing any of the subtleties of the man's face and expression. Nicely done, Joe! Regards, David Link to comment

corinne_svala 0 Posted October 15, 2007 I think all is said in the poster the guy has around his neck. Good choice of background which, by its simplicity, doesn t distract our eye. The face of this man tell us also a lot about the situation he s demonstrating in. Maybe poster could have been put more in the 1/3 left corner but thats just a detail ;) Link to comment
bosshogg 4 Posted December 23, 2007 The look on the man's face and the posture say as much as the sign. Link to comment
