Your ratings don't look that bad, but about the picture. This is so cool, I can't believe that the white is that white. The reflections have such great detail as well, This is a wonderfully done picture. - Lex

This i looked already earlier yesterday. This looks pretty much perfect in my eyes. I would only crop some from the upper corners where the top window row breaks. Or cut the left side so the building corner would be cut out and after that would turn this like 90 degrees CW. Just a thoughts. rgs Tero. Ps. I like this new style a lot.

Very nice capture. The solid white bands running through the reflection add an interesting contrast to the darker vertical lines and break up the image in a dramatic way. You are doing some very interesting work with the buildings in St. Pete's.

I hope they get your camera back to you soon. My 20d has been acting up lately, it just goes blank and dies. So far, removing and re-inserting the battery gets it back up and running but I have fears that it will get worse. I'm just hoping to get through the fall before I have to send it to Canon.

The camera arrived home about an hour ago. Haven't had time to test but I'm assuming it's fine. In total, it was gone for 20 days. That included shipping time. I chose the "slow boat" (5 days from sending to delivery) to Nikon's upstate NY repair facility because I'm - well - frugal. The work was fully covered under warranty. All in all, not too bad an experience. But I did miss my favorite photo taking event of the year - Guavaween, Tampa Florida's unique version of Halloween. Oh well. Good luck with your Canon. Cheers -

I'm glad you are back up and running. I can now look forward to new and interesting shots of St. Petersburg.

I was also thinking about including or not the left part on the other side of the corner. But after reflecting I came to the conclusion that it is well the way it is.

Thanks for your comment. I think that corner tells a completely different story and adds interest to the photo. I'm glad you agree - it stays! Cheers -

Very interesting perspective with the blank lines interrupting the flow of the reflection. The distorted image of the buildings are compelling to look at. Don't pay attention to the anonymous 3's. They are a pain.

Nikon in the shop? Caaaanonnn, Caaanonnn, Caanonnn! :-)

Love the way the white melds in with the white screen background (probably works equally well in a printed & matted version.) Any photoshop to take out vertical thingies in the white areas? Very impressive reflection shot, that's for sure. Now get out there (with a friends Canon, of course) and shoot some more of these

Thanks for stopping by. The Nikon's been home and very well for a while now, thank you very much. As for the vertical thingies, cropping did the trick. I did boost the contrast making the white considerably whiter but it's really white to begin with. I'll be downtown next week to try a get me some more of these babies :) Cheers -
